In the story, as in real life, so many people are hurt by prejudice feelings. The main figure, Scout, must deal with problems throughout the book. However , in addition they teach Scout a valuable lesson.

This same scenario can be evident in real life. Many people are prejudice toward other people, due to race, sexuality, or sociable status. I've witnessed this happen myself a few times.
