As a college student actor, I actually apply Stanislvaski techniques of essential queries, emotional and sense recollection, and Laban's techniques of eight work to create a representational characterization of Clarry in the play ‘The Shifting Heart'. The character Clarry is confronted with the dominant racial theme of the Australian 1950s. Clarry is committed and excited about Gino. Yet , the ethnic themes amidst Australia in the year 1950s resists Gino from staying taken in Clarry's steel business. Clarry believes Gino is unguided and ‘looking for trouble', amongst a society filled with hatred amidst Italians. Clarry must guide and guard Gino, nevertheless , despite his best efforts, he is bombarded outside a dance lounge and drops dead in clinic. My performance was towards end of scene two act two, where challenge erupts among Maria and Clarry above concerns upon Gino.
